STA Consultants have more than 27 years automotive experience within Europe and emerging markets throughout Central Asia, China and the Middle East.

We are able to use this experience, coupled with latest industry know how, to deliver our customers projects within tight financial, quality and time contstraints.

STA Consultants aim to introduce and promote high quality standards within the OEM and its supplier base, by employing industry standard tools such as Advanced Product Quality Planning, Kaisen, Value Stream Mapping, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Control Planning. By using such tools it is possible to quickly realise goals and demonstrate the results at Senior Management or Director levels via scheduled Project Reviews.

Company Director Jon Steane (FISME) has been in the automotive sector since 1983, he served a traditional apprenticeship, as an Automotive Sheet Metal Engineer, gaining the highest possible grades in all disciplines as well as winning the Institute of Sheet Metal Engineering (I.S.M.E.) National Craft awards for technical excellence.

Jon has worked for small family businesses as well as large multi national corporations and has many years experience working with domestic and overseas companies. During his early years in the industry Jon specialised in the management of Body in White projects but more recently he has diversified into the interior cockpit and whole vehicle systems sector.
